The Ash Tree is renowned in British folklore for its protective and healing properties, particularly in child health. It is even said that newborn babies were given a spoonful of Ash tree sap to aid a healthy start in life. The Celts thought the Ash tree to be sacred and was strongly linked to positive enchantment. The straight grain of Ash Tree bark also made it a popular material for Druidic spears and wands. The Ash is the last tree to come into leaf in spring and the earliest to lose its leaves in autumn. Ash is a native tree and can grow to around 130ft (40m). Ash tree supplied is 20-60cm tall.
Hardy in the severest European continental climates including exposed upland locations in the UK.

Give the Gift of a Ash Tree Gift
Delivered from the nursery to their doorstep
I was so thrilled with this gift. It was given to my by my brother whose name is Ash (very appropriate) and is the first tree to be planted in our new garden down in Devon - so special on both counts.
Received this Ash as a congratulations gift from a friend when I told her we are expecting a baby. The tree was a big suprise and is now planted in a big pot in our garden. Beth
