These terms apply when you purchase goods or services from Tree2mydoor through our website or by telephone.
Please read them together with our Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms shown before you place your order.

Placing an order
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products or services shown in your basket.
An automated order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.
Unless we tell you otherwise, we accept your order when the goods are dispatched. At that point a contract is formed between you and Tree2mydoor for the affected goods.
When we may be unable to accept an order
Occasionally we may be unable to accept or fulfil an order. This may happen where:
- a product is unavailable
- we cannot deliver to the address provided
- payment cannot be authorised
- we identify a suspected fraud or security concern
- there is an obvious error in a price, description or availability
- an unexpected supplier or operational issue prevents fulfilment.
If we cannot fulfil an order after payment has been taken, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund for the affected goods.
Prices and payment
Product prices are shown on the website and include VAT where applicable unless we clearly state otherwise.
Delivery charges are shown separately before payment.
The final price for your order, including applicable delivery charges, will be shown at checkout before you complete payment.
Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Online payments are processed securely through Shopify and its supported payment services.
Tree2mydoor does not directly store your full payment card details.
Product descriptions
We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately.
Trees and plants are natural products, so reasonable differences between individual specimens are normal.
Variation may include differences in:
- shape and branching
- height within the stated product range
- foliage and colour
- flowering and fruiting
- seasonal appearance.
Product photographs are representative. The goods supplied should still correspond with their description and any material characteristics stated on the product page.
Living products and seasonal variation
Living products naturally change throughout the year.
Deciduous trees may arrive without leaves during their normal dormant season. Flowering and fruiting are affected by season, maturity, weather and growing conditions and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.
A normal seasonal characteristic does not, by itself, mean that a tree or plant is faulty.
If you are unsure about the condition of a living product, please contact Customer Care for advice.
Packaging and presentation
Gift wrapping, pots, packaging and decorative presentation may occasionally differ from photographs where equivalent materials are used.
We continue to reduce the amount of oil-based plastic used in our packaging while ensuring that living products remain appropriately protected during delivery.
Availability and substitutions
Living products are seasonal and availability can change.
If the exact product you ordered becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will normally contact you before making a material substitution.
We may offer a suitable alternative or a refund for the affected product.
Minor changes to packaging or presentation which do not materially alter the product may be made without contacting you.
Personalised products
Some products can be personalised, including greetings cards and engraved products.
Please check personalisation carefully when placing your order.
Once we have started making or personalising an item, it may not be possible to change or cancel it unless there is a fault or we have made an error.
For full details see our Returns and Refund Policy.
Pre-orders
Some products may be available to pre-order before they are ready for dispatch.
Pre-orders are paid for in full when the order is placed.
Where possible, expected availability or delivery information will be shown when you order.
Because living products and nursery availability can sometimes change, an estimated availability date is not a guaranteed delivery date unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you.
If there is a significant change to expected availability, we will contact you and explain the available options.
Delivery
Available delivery services depend on the product, destination and date selected.
Full information about delivery areas, delivery attempts, customer-supplied addresses, delayed parcels, re-delivery and responsibility for delivery problems is set out in our Shipping Policy.
You can also see our Delivery Information and Delivery Costs pages.
Changing or cancelling an order
Your rights to change or cancel an order, return eligible products or seek a remedy where something is wrong are explained in our Returns and Refund Policy.
MyTree™
Eligible living gifts may be supported by MyTree™, our recipient care service and additional warranty.
MyTree™ is provided in addition to statutory consumer rights and does not replace them.
See our MyTree™ information page, MyTree™ registration page and MyTree™ Warranty Terms.
Customer responsibilities
Please provide complete and accurate information when placing an order, particularly the recipient's delivery address, postcode and any personalisation details.
If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to help where the order has not entered preparation or dispatch.
Additional costs may apply where a delivery failure or re-delivery is caused by incorrect information supplied to us, failure to accept or collect a delivery, or a delivery change requested after dispatch.
Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so.
We remain responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not caused by us or that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, except where the law says otherwise.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Events outside reasonable control
Events such as severe weather, major transport disruption, natural events or other circumstances outside reasonable control may affect our ability to fulfil or deliver an order as planned.
Where this happens, we will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the disruption and will explain the available options where your order is materially affected.
This does not remove any rights you have under consumer law.
Business and corporate orders
These terms are primarily written for consumers purchasing from Tree2mydoor.
Separate terms may apply to corporate, wholesale, bespoke campaign or other business purchases. Where separate terms are agreed, those terms will apply to the relevant business order.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your purchase will normally be those in force when the relevant contract was formed.
