Send our Rowan Tree Gift to a loved one and their garden will proudly show a growing reminder of your love. Rowans are revered as the ‘Tree of Life’ in Celtic mythology and are said to protect the home in which it grows. Wish friends and family well at housewarmings, weddings, or memorials in a way that will be remembered.

This gift begins as a humble Rowan Tree Sapling with a slender trunk and light green leaves. Spring welcomes buds and creamy-white flowers that release enticing fragrances and invite butterflies, birds, and bees. Of course, the leaves in autumn aren’t short of red and orange colour. As for the delicious berries, the female Rowans start to produce them after 7 years of growth. Rest assured, they are worth the wait. Picking ripe rowan berries in autumn for jam and jelly-making is simple yet satisfying.

Our Rowan Sapling is native to the British Isles, fully hardy, and will happily grow in a large pot for 8 years before being planted. Click ‘Add to Basket’ to personalise a card then choose a day for delivery.

Lovely tree & well packaged.

The sapling appears healthy and the top bud appears to be starting to grow - in response to being potted.

It was a gift for my granddaughter, her name is Rowan Paige. It was planted out into a pot when it arrived and seemed to be doing very well until the hot weather arrived. Hopefully it will do well!

I had excellent feedback from my friend who received the tree as a celebratory 70th birthday gift. She was impressed with how it was presented and loved all the accompanying information. The tree itself was beyond her expectations - she planted it right away and informs me it is thriving beautifully. Result: one happy tree, one happy friend and one very happy customer (me).

It was a lovely idea for a gift for a 1st wedding anniversary however I was a little disappointed that I may have just received a twig :s. It was very very small and not sure it was worth the money. I am not an expert but my husband was pleased with it after the initial giggle!

I loved how easy it was to purchase this tree, in memory of a close relative. I called and was lucky enough to speak with one of the founders of the company. My heart sank when I saw how the delivery guy treated my tree. He was throwing it around like he really didn't care. Shame

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!!!! really happy with the presentation and look of the small tree that will grow. BRILLIANT customer service and really responsive on requests made. Will be using again.

I ordered this Rowan tree as a retirement gift for my mum. It arrived promptly and in good condition. It's a honestly priced shrub and will hopefully do well in a pot outdoors until we decide the perfect place for it.

Rebecca

We were delighted to receive a rowan tree as a wedding present and although were somewhat surprised by how small it was, we are looking forward to watching it grow.

Rebecca

We were delighted with our very thoughtful wedding presemt of a rowan tree. It was somewhat smaller than we had anticipated but are looking forward to watching it grow.

I ordered this Rowan Tree for my mum's 50th birthday. As I currently live abroad I was looking for a gift that I could organize easily and feel content that it would arrive. My mum was very happy with the tree and the only issue I would report would be that I had requested delivery for Friday 15th August and it didn't actually arrive until Monday HOWEVER- as my parents live on the outer Hebrides I think treetomydoor did well enough ;)

Heather

Easy to order arrived quickly and very pleased with the little tree :)

This was a gift for my mother and she was absolutely delighted with it.

Hello I ordered a rowan tree from you for my sister’s 60th birthday four years ago, which she loved. It was so small when it came that we said that it was more like a twiglet than a baby tree. It was in a large pot in my garden for two years as my sister was moving between bases. It is now a strapping, beautiful tree but is still affectionately referred to as Twiglet. It now resides in France with my sister. Thank you for the pleasure it has given us both.
