Our Sunburst Cherry Tree produces gorgeous, spring blossoms from which a heavy crop of sweet, dark red cherries grow. Jam-makers, cooks, and bakers alike love the culinary cherries that adorn the thin branches along with the soft, green leaves. It is similar to our Stella Cherry Tree, but with larger and darker fruit, and makes for a superb spring birthday gift.
The Sunburst variety is self-fertile and happily withstands northern UK climates. Just plant in a sunny, sheltered spot, and provide plenty of water in summer.
Our Sunburst Cherry is grafted on a colt rootstock and can grow to a height of 4.5m (15ft). Delivered gift-wrapped in a hessian bag, perfect for July birthdays and cooking lovers.
