Send our Red Oak Tree Gift to friends and family as a grand gesture or to mark special occasions. Customers cherish this living gift for its majestic beauty when it matures and its enduring symbolism of strength, courage, and wisdom - the perfect gift for Father’s Day and dads’ birthdays.
This Quercus rubra arrives with a tall, slender trunk but has plans to grow into a sturdy oak. Every spring, dark green leaves begin to grow, livening the garden with colour. The colour holds throughout summer, then in autumn, the leaves turn bright red as a final display before winter sets in. When the tree matures, it produces a crop of acorns for local wildlife or for use in delicious recipes. Winter isn’t a problem for this hardy tree, simply plant it in well-drained soil with exposure to full sun and water well while the roots establish.
