Our Red Corkscrew Hazelnut Tree has a slender trunk and twisted branches. In early spring, the red-purple foliage reveals its exquisite shape and colour. In summer, the leaves have a green tint that turns bronze in autumn. Hazelnuts are ripe by October and the leaves fall off for winter. The wild branches are exposed and the purple-red catkins can still grow for winter appeal.
