A small vase shaped tree with oval leaves, bronze when young, turning orange-red in autumn. The double, rose-pink flowers are one of the most exotic and long lasting of any of the Japanese flowering cherries, persisting for several weeks from early May.
Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations.
