James Grieve Apple Tree Gift
Superb apples for eating and cooking
Dispatched from our expert growing partner and delivered within 7 days.
The James Grieve Apple Tree is a self pollinating fruit tree that produces versatile yellow apples that are great for both cooking and eating. The dual-purpose apple is great for eating fresh, cooking and even for a tipple of homemade cider or apple juice.
James Grieve apples can be picked early in the season while still fairly firm, this is around late August time. When the young fruit is used as a cooking apple holds its shape well and delivers a delicious but tangy, sharp flavour. As the apple matures it mellows and develops a soft texture, similar to a firm pear.
The James Grieve variety is reliable, resistant and will produce a good crop year after year making it one of the most perfect and popular gifts to send for birthdays, anniversaries and many more occasions. The apple tree has been lovingly pot grown and nurtured and is ready to be planted as soon as it arrives.
