Our Gooseberry Bush Gift is cherished for its abundance of delicious fruits and readiness to grow in our UK gardens. Jam-makers and wine-lovers alike love the tart green berries that adorn the prickly bushes. It’s said that babies are born under the Gooseberry Bush making this a great christening or new baby gift.

Blossom and light green leaves appear in early spring from which the gooseberries grow, ready for harvest from July to August. Pick unripe gooseberries for a sour taste or leave them to ripen for a sweet muscat flavour. This gooseberry variety is self-fertile and a heavy cropper - a low maintenance, high reward plant.

Our Gooseberry Plants are carefully handpicked, placed in a hessian bag, and secured in a purpose-made box, ready for safe delivery. On arrival, they will be 30-50cm tall and can grow up to 2m, a suitable gift for all garden sizes.
