The Braeburn apple tree produces large red-yellow fruits that hide a creamy white flesh full of flavour. It is as it's most yummy when eaten straight from the tree, but is also pretty good for pies and crumbles.
Braeburn apples are ready for picking in October so just in time to for all the scrumptious winter apple recipes.
Although fairly easy to grow it does prefer warmer climates and tends to do better in the south of the UK.
