Taken from our native Elder tree the Black Lace variety is a stunning ornamental tree. The near black leaves make an exciting contrast to the pink blossoms that appear in May-June time. In autumn the leaves turn a deep red colour and the tree produces dark red berries that make a great wine. Great gift for the lace wedding anniversary (13 years). It doesn't grow too big and is perfect for smaller gardens.
