This smaller counterpart of the much larger Opal plum can grow to be as charming, but don't let its small size fool you - this fruit tree produces plenty in terms of jam makers and cook who need an ample supply! With VVA-1 rootstock (which means self-pollinating), it's easy enough that if they are left in a full sun position, they will turn out perfect plums with bright red colouring ready at harvest time every year
Soft, green leaves appear in winter and spring gives way to pristine white blossoms. In summer, our Plum Trees produces succulent plums with a bright red colour, ready to be picked in August every year.
