The Robinson's Be Natural logoWe’re gearing up for a busy, busy week as we head towards the deadline of the Robinson’s “Meet Our Bird” competition which, when it closes this week, will see 1,000 of our trees being sent out to the lucky winners.
If you’ve not already seen the Robinson’s “Meet Our Bird” TV ad that has been running this month, check it out here. With his swanky bachelor pad, satellite TV, American-style fridge stocked with..er..worm sausages and funky furniture this is one savvy little feathered consumer and the key message of the ad is that you can now have a more natural squash drink.
The Be Natural range was launched by parent company Britvic, just this month and is designed to appeal to families who want a cheaper, healthy alternative to pure juices and smoothies. In fact, the ingredients are so natural, (there’s no preservatives, artificial flavourings, colourings or sweeteners) that you’ll have to keep this squash in the fridge.
We first started talking to Robinsons over six months ago when, as part of the Be Natural launch competition they were running with www.netmums.com, they asked us to supply a small tree that could be sent out along with a bottle of the new squash to 1,000 winners.
We did our homework and gave Robinsons three choices of 30cm sapling fruit trees; wild cherry, wild pear and crab apple. They chose the latter and so that’s what we’ll be busy packing up this week – 1,000 crab apple saplings.
